"Hearts of Palm", IDAHO’s fifth studio album, was universally praised by the critic when released in 2000. It features Dan Seta on guitars and Jeff Martin playing everything else. Preceding a new Idaho album in 2019, we are delighted to announce today that this wonderful album is now released on vinyl by Talitres and available for pre-order from our webstore.

One of the most prolific, consistent, and unsung acts classified as slowcore, Los Angeles, California’s Idaho is led by four-string guitarist and vocalist Jeff Martin, an unflinching songwriter who gained comparisons to Mark Eitzel (American Music Club), Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters), and Neil Young. Idaho gained a decent-size underground following through a steady release schedule during the ’90s, as well as sporadic touring. Through the 2010s, Idaho alternated between a full-band lineup and a solo outlet for Martin, who also plays drums, bass, and keyboards, and produces his recordings.

*"Hearts Of Palm" was originally released on CD & digital in the year 2000. It was recorded at Jeff Martin’s house in Laurel Canyon and Bill Sanke’s studio in downtown L.A. from mid ’99 to early ’00. It was mixed by Bill Sanke at his Down Town LA studio.

For the release of the Raoul Vignal new album "Oak Leaf", we are happy to announce the collaboration between, a local microbrewery from Blaye (Gironde) ’Les Bières du Carrelet’ & Talitres.

Les Bières du Carrelet is a microbrewery founded by Romain Zaruba in 2015. Four beers are currently brewed, using carefully selected ingredients, an artisanal process in stainless steel boiling pots.

"Hop Wave", the beer brewed specially for Talitres is 80 % barley pilsen, 20 % barley Munich light. Hops : Southern Passion (South Africa) & Strisselpalt (Alsace, France). With a dry hoping process (Southern Passion). Session IPA style beer. Light bitterness, refreshing hop aromas. Alc. 4.5%. Micro-brew, 44 liters, 133 bootles of 33 cl.

"Oak Leaf" is the new album of the french singer-songwriter Raoul Vignal. From 2010 to this day, the french musician has been playing authentic, modern folk music. Forming the essence of his compositions, soothing vocals and delicate fingerpicking played on alternate tunings are Vignal’s trademark. His music has often been described by audience as "evocative" and "mesmerising".

After releasing his debut "The Silver Veil" ("the softest of voices with an album of gold"), Raoul Vignal toured all over Europe, playing shows and festivals such as Eurosonic in The Netherlands, Le Printemps de Bourges, Les Nuits de Fourvière in France, to name a few.

Shortly after, he entered the studio with his touring bandmates and recorded "Oak Leaf" (out, Nov. 16th, 2018), a more ’mature’ and orchestrated full-lenght. If the compositions remained is own, the arrangements were more of a collaboration between everyone involved in the band.
